Waterview Shaker Kitchen

This previously outdated kitchen just wasn’t working for a family in Saratoga Springs, NY so we made a couple subtle design changes that made sense for the client’s lifestyle. First, we mixed cabinet styles, using both full overlay full access White Shaker Cabinets for the base and Traditional build inset wall cabinets. Giving the space a very classy and comfortable look.

Inset doors

Inset doors are set into the frame and provide a custom and smooth overall appearance. The door and the drawer front is inset into the face frame, leaving the entire face frame exposed.

Full overlay doors

Full overlay doors have no face frame and the cabinet doors attach directly to the sides of the cabinet box. Doors typically cover the entire cavity and box, which is called a full-ove

By using the Woodland Cabinetry tall pantry at 24″ wide, Lacey was able to create a lot of extra storage space. The 4 roll-out shelves utilize every inch of pantry space for food, supplies, and small appliances. For additional storage, we used a 12″ wide full height door cabinet for trays on the left of the cooktop, and a full-height door with a pantry pull out to the right. This gives the homeowners lots of room for pots and pans.
