Ready for your Bathroom remodel?
The bathroom is often the first thing you visit in the morning and the last thing you visit before going to bed at night. It’s where you unwind after a long day at work by taking a nice warm bath.
Bathrooms are a great place to make a huge impact in your home. Even if you’re not ready for a serious renovation project, it may be worthwhile to budget for a mini-facelift.
We can help you bring out the most potential out of your bathroom, and make sure it meets your needs.
Ready to get started on your dream bathroom remodeling project?
The vanity really is the centrepiece of the bathroom but what exactly is it and why is it so important? We outline everything that you need to know.
When you are choosing a bathroom vanity, the first thing that you need to think of is the size of the bathroom itself. You want a vanity that is in proportion and that is not too large or small. You also want to make sure that the vanity suits your needs. Make sure that it has plenty of storage for toiletries, cosmetics, hairdryers, hair straighteners, cleaning products, medications, and anything else that you want to have easy access to. Many people now want to keep at least one set of fresh towels in their vanity, both for easy access, and for aesthetic reasons. A combination of shelves and drawers is usually required. You will need to decide if you want a single or a double vanity. If your bathroom is mayhem in the mornings, having two sinks could make all the difference, as people will be able to get ready faster without the frustration.
A vanity cabinet is designed much like your kitchen cabinets with pull-out drawers that can be custom outfitted for your storage needs. Available in many door and hardware styles.
Much like pedestal style, a free-standing vanity also has a minimal profile but is available in a square or rectangular shape that can support two sinks. Great for a master bath.
A wall-mounted vanity, also called floating, is directly mounted (securely) on your bathroom wall. Gives your bathroom an open, contemporary look with floor space underneath. If you don’t need much storage space, you can simply add a countertop.
Requiring very little space, a pedestal sink is the simplest type with no countertop or space for storage. It’s just a sink and basin. But it can fit into any style of home and is easy to install.
