Above: There was a small standard-type shower tucked in the corner – which just didn’t feel very master bath-y. So Lacey designed a large two-person shower with two shower heads and hand shower.
The project, for clients with an outdated master bath, was a complete overhaul of the main features; double vanity, large shower, bathtub, and dedicated toilet space; in relatively the same locations.
The design spotlights a neutral gray color palette and some fun farmhouse inspired touches, while focusing on quality products that bring both functionality and visual appeal. Lacey was able to incorporate these touches through the barn door and funky lines of the Delta Stryke.
The current shower was decently sized, but the homeowners wanted to expand. Lacey used the Delta Stryke, complete with multi-function showerhead, rain shower, handshower with six-setting diverter to upgrade to a custom shower experience. The homeowners decided on a custom marble shower that Lacey helped handpick the details specifically to highlight the natural beauty of the marble. Layering shades of gray, with black and white, while also balancing textures, this space creates a delicate balance of farmhouse charm and modern glam.
This Matte Black finish was throughout the bathroom- from the faucets, to the lighting fixtures, the shower door frame, door handles and hinges, and the toilet handle for a complete finished look. Lacey guided the client to find the right product to ensure the functionality of the bathroom remained while getting the design look they had in mind.
We worked with Lacey at Capital. She was very knowledgeable and had many design suggestions. We told her what we wanted, she came to our house and visually inspected and measured for our bath renovation. She worked with our contractor from start to finish. Due to Covid there were a few bumps along the road, but Lacey was always available to help out and troubleshoot. We are pleased with the final outcome. Both our ideas and Lacey’s suggestions came together beautifully.
In our continuting efforts to improve and expand our services, we are excited to introduce online design meetings. This flexible new format lets us guide you through the design process, share our various product offerings, view your current space live during your consultation, answer all your questions, and offer expert help and assistance. You can have a design meeting from the comfort of your home – or wherever you feel comfortable discussing your new kitchen or bath!
